About Lokesh Nathany

My Story from Nowhere to Somewhere

Lokesh was born in Hindmotor in a lower middle-class family where money was a rarity and financial challenges were a reality. He studied in a small local school as that’s all they could afford. However, the modest upbringing with lots of financial challenges made Lokesh strong in his determination to bring a positive change in his and family’s life. He was influenced and inspired by the hard work put in by both his father and mother helping him in dealing with all the challenges that life threw at him. At a very early age Lokesh understood the power of dreams and that can be instrumental in his journey going forward. From the suburbs of west Bengal to joining St. Xaviers College to move to Hyderabad for work and eventually to Mumbai, the financial capital of India is Lokesh’s journey from nowhere to somewhere. The journey was full of life lessons, inspiring moments, anecdotes and made Lokesh strong enough to deal with both success and failures professionally and personally. Lokesh’s ability to connect with people and use stories in his conversation made him a natural salesperson from the word go. He went on to Head Sales and Business Development for India and Middle markets for leading brands in the financial services industry. At the age of 49 when people look for stability in career, Lokesh decided to challenge himself by moving out of the corporate life to pursue his passion of connecting with people and making a positive difference in their professional and personal lives through his training, workshops, talks and storytelling abilities. His clients and their teams love the energy, belief and confidence that he builds in his sessions. The journey from nowhere to somewhere came full circle when Lokesh was felicitated by the Honourable President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji for his contribution towards storytelling, mentoring and curation of real life stories for the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA).
