Motivational Talks

We all can do with a dose of motivation at regular intervals. Life at workplace is always pulling you from all sides – be it Family, Supervisors, Clients, Timelines, Targets – everyone wants a piece of you resulting in disturbing your peace. We all are so stretched and stressed trying to make all happy that it starts to affect both mind and body. The internal leadership despite their abilities and motivation are discounted by the people as they hear them day and night. As they say “Ghar ki Murgi, Dal Barabar” or Familiarity breeds contempt or Self possessions are always undermined. Motivational talks are like fueling the tank or charging your equipment for it to keep working. A session that would use real life stories of my journey from Nowhere to Somewhere coupled with my experience as a Senior Leader and Head of Business Development. In last seven years I have built the amazing way through storytelling that would motivate your people to deal with situations, challenges, failures and transform them as warriors. Dreams and Goals

I learnt very early in life that Life without Dreams & goals is like playing a football match without a goal post. During my working years, one common point that most of the colleagues across departments used to discuss was – If the organization grows, we will only get the basic increments and incentives. It is the senior management that will take home all the biggies. This always resulted in people not giving more to their work and efforts. I remember always highlighting to my team about only if they excel and achieve their professional goals that they have a chance to make personal dreams & goals a reality. The session on Dreams and Goals is all about making your people realize the following – @It is important to have dreams and goals both professionally and personally. @Without achieving professional goals, you can never fulfil your personal dreams. @One needs to give more than 100% at work to achieve what one wants to achieve. @Important to have the belief, mindset and capacity to deal with challenges and failures to make dreams a reality. The session concludes with an activity that would help them write their professional and personal dreams that will keep reminding them till they make them a reality. An activity that will bring smiles, emotions and a childlike energy.  

Manage Change or Change will manage you
The only constant in life is change and I have embraced it every stage of life. Coming from a very humble background, I embraced change at all points of time. In my journey from Nowhere to Somewhere some of the changes that challenged me was changing my industry, market conditions, cities I worked in, product lines, change in my supervisor and many more. Even though it is not easy to accept and adapt to changes but if one wants to Accelerate, one has to Accept, Adapt and be Accountable. Change helps us in learning new things and develop new skills that can lead to personal growth and development. Even an organization success depends on its ability and capability to accept and adapt to change. For an organization to embrace change, they need the people also with a similar mindset. The team should be open to change otherwise they will obstruct the growth. The unknown fear of change makes people in the organization resist change. A team that develops a positive mindset towards change will always rise to the challenges that comes with it.  A couple of hours session on the Why, What and How of the Change will help your team to Accept, Adapt and Accelerate better. Team Culture

An organization is as good as the team that it has. A captain also is as good as his/her team. Do you feel that your organization has a strong team culture. Like in cricket, stars could win you few matches but definitely not the championship. The 1983 winning world cup team of Indian cricket had average abilities for the matches as compared to other teams but they had one very strong tool – They played as a team and achieved the impossible. Stories people remember but data they tend to forget after a point. However, if the data is presented with stories, chances of the team retaining the information increases manifold. Stories are as old as human civilization. Our ability to construct and tell a story decides the quality of connect we develop with the other person.
